Puma's Business Creation & Financial Services Inc. is led by Veloney J. Cross, an expert with decades of experience in banking and business. Ms. Cross is dedicated to helping businesses establish and grow.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Penal, Trinidad, Ms. Cross's multicultural background provides a unique perspective that enhances her approach to business. She began this venture part-time over 20 years ago while working in the banking industry, assisting small businesses in Southern California. She later relocated to Texas to pursue this work full-time.
As the founder and CEO of Puma, Ms. Cross holds an AAS in International Business, a B.S. in Accounting and Finance, and an MBA in Global Business Management from Strayer University.
Ms. Cross is a committed supporter of diverse and thriving communities, demonstrated through her influential co-sponsorship of the Caribbean Craft Market™ and her role as the Public Relations person for the Arts, Culture, and Entertainment Council (ACE Council).
In recognition of her significant contributions to the business services sector, Ms. Cross of Houston, Texas, has been acknowledged in Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition. She was also featured in VOYAGEHOUSTON, Texas, on August 22, 2019, as Houston’s most inspiring story, where she shared insights into her business and her courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
